# Attic Venetian Blind

Venetian blind in the attic: fine light and a wipeable surface on the flat dormer glass; a use limit on the slope.

## Attic Analysis

In the attic the venetian is evaluated with the plane split: on the vertical dormer glass the slats manage the light finely and the wiped surface resists the roof dust. On the sloped roof glass, though, the freely hanging slat stands crooked — the tensioned cellular system is the right class on that plane. The two positions are told separately on the page.

### Adjustment on Vertical Glass

On the dormer window the slat tilt manages the roof light finely.

### Slope Limit

On the sloped roof glass the free slat stands crooked; a tensioned system is needed.

### Dust Resistance

In the attic’s dusty setting the wiped metal surface is practical.

### Privacy

The closed slat closes the attic to the street view.

## The Plane Split Under the Roof

The attic has two glass types: the vertical dormer and the sloped roof. The venetian does its full job on the first — the slat adjustment manages the light and the metal surface resists the dusty setting.

On the sloped glass the freely hanging slat stands crooked with gravity; on this plane the tensioned cellular system is the right solution. The limit is written honestly.

In the attic’s dense sun the slat tilt is adjusted throughout the day; the closed position also gives privacy.
