# Boat & Yacht Zip Screen

Zip screen on a boat and yacht: wind-sun protection on the deck and flybridge edge; marine-resistant fabric and mounting in the sea environment.

## Boat & Yacht Zip Screen Analysis

On a boat and yacht the zip screen works on the deck edge: it closes the open plane of the flybridge and the aft deck with side-channelled fabric — the wind is cut, the sun reflected off the water is filtered. [Sea-resistant](https://www.fenetresystems.com/en/aluminium-venetian-blinds/) technical fabric and a marine-coated profile are needed; it is an exterior-plane product, not an interior cabin one.

### Deck Edge

The open edge of the flybridge and the aft deck closes with channel-locked fabric.

### Reflection

The sun reflected off the water is filtered on the exterior plane; eye comfort is preserved.

### Sea Resistance

The marine-coated profile and the technical fabric withstand the salty air.

### Wind

In sea wind the channel-locked fabric stays stable.

## Exterior closure on the deck

The boat deck is an exterior plane: wind and reflected sun come from the open edge. The zip screen closes this edge — the wind is cut, the reflection is filtered.

The sea environment brings a material condition: the marine-coated profile and the technical fabric withstand the salty air; it is not an interior cabin product.

The channel-locked fabric stays stable in sea wind; open-deck comfort is preserved.
