# Café & Restaurant Pleated Insect Screen

Café & restaurant pleated insect screen: folding mesh on the outdoor-seating entrance; pest barrier plus trip-free passage.

## Café & Restaurant Analysis

In the café and restaurant the pleated insect screen is part of food hygiene: on the door between the outdoor seating and the saloon the folding mesh keeps flies and pests outside — service passage [works trip-free with the threshold-free rail](https://www.fenetresystems.com/en/threshold-free-pleated-insect-screen/). While evening pest density is high the barrier is critical.

### Hygiene

Pest entry in a food venue is an inspection risk; the barrier is a must.

### Service

The threshold-free rail does not trip when passing with a tray in hand.

### Evening

Pest density makes the barrier critical in the evening hour.
