# Pergola Zip Screen

Zip screen on a pergola: wind-sun closure of the side edges; together with the top cover a fully protected open room is built, the evening cool is held inside.

## Pergola Zip Screen Analysis

The pergola and the zip screen together build an open room: the top cover cuts the sun from above, the side-channelled zip edges close against wind and side sun. The combination of the two systems turns the open area into a four-season usable volume — alone the pergola stays open on the sides, the zip completes it. The [motorised order and the sensor](https://www.fenetresystems.com/en/zip-screen-systems/) provide automation.

### Side Closure

The open edges of the pergola are closed with side-channelled fabric; wind and side sun are cut.

### Full Room

Top cover + side zip = a four-season usable open room.

### Insect

The edge closure keeps evening pests outside.

### Automation

The sun and the wind sensor manage the system by itself.

## The complement of the pergola

The pergola gives a top cover but its side edges stay open; the zip screen closes these edges — wind and side sun are cut, the open room is completed.

The combination works four seasons: the cover above, the zip on the sides; evening pests stay outside with the edge closure.

The motorised order and the sensor manage the system by itself; when not used it retracts into the cassette.
