# Sloped Window Venetian Blind

Venetian blind on the sloped window: a limited variant on the mild slope and an honest evaluation; steep-angle limit.

## Sloped Window Analysis

On the sloped window the venetian is evaluated with an honest limit: the freely hanging slat separates from the glass on the slope and stands crooked; on a mild slope specially connected variants work but on a steep roof slope it is [not suitable](https://www.fenetresystems.com/en/sloped-duette-blind/). The right use is on a near-vertical mild slope; on the steep slope the tensioned cellular system is the right class — this split is written openly.

### Mild Slope

On a near-vertical slope the connected-slat variant works; the limit is the angle degree.

### Steep-Slope Limit

On the roof slope the free slat separates from the glass; it does not close properly.

### Alternative

On the steep slope the tensioned cellular system keeps the fabric in the channel; it is the right class.

### Measurement

The slope angle and the joinery type give the suitability decision.

## The Slats’ Reality on the Slope

On sloped glass the venetian’s problem is gravity: the free slat separates from the glass on the slope and does not stand straight. On a mild slope connected variants work; on a steep roof slope it is not suitable.

On the steep slope the right solution is the tensioned cellular system — the fabric stays straight inside the channel. This split is written honestly; the venetian is not advised on the wrong plane.

The slope angle and the joinery type give the decision; the measurement is taken from the frame.

Application Notes

## Mounting & Selection for Sloped Window

### Angle Limit

A connected variant on the mild slope; it does not work on the steep.

### Alternative

On the steep slope the tensioned cellular is the right class.

### Measurement

The slope angle and the frame type decide the suitability.

### Privacy

In the suitable position the closed slat cuts the interior.
