# Triangular Pleated Blind

A special form cut to the angle of the triangular frame. The blind of roof and gable windows.

## Triangle Form Types

The standard rectangular mould does not apply here. Form symmetry decides the cutting method.

## Production Process

Four steps from template to mounting. Each one form-specific.

01. **Template Taken** — The window edges and corner angles are copied with a cardboard or digital template.
02. **Fabric Cut** — The pleated fabric is cut to the triangle mould. Sharp-angled corners are worked with tolerance.
03. **Profile Mitred** — The aluminium rail is mitre-cut to the corner angles and joined.
04. **Mounting and Seating** — The frame is fixed to the joinery. Edge seating is verified at all three corners.

## Critical Points in Cutting

- On sharp-angled corners the fabric-cutting tolerance is decisive
- On fixed fills the tensioning keeps the fabric straight within the form
- On sashed triangular frames the opening direction decides the mounting

## When Fixed, When Moving?

- Fixed fill is recommended on small and sharp-angled triangles
- Folding fabric works on symmetrical forms with a wide base
- On unreachable high forms the fixed solution asks no maintenance

## Questions About the Triangular Pleated Blind

Can a blind be made for a triangular window?

Yes. Triangular frames are the special-form segment of pleated production. The fabric is cut to the form. Small triangles get fixed fill, large ones get moving fabric.

How is the template taken?

The window edges are copied with cardboard or a measuring template. Angles and side lengths go into the production file. Around Gebze the team takes the template.

Does a triangular blind open and close?

Depends on the form. On large symmetrical triangles the fabric can fold from base to apex. On small or sharp-angled forms fixed fabric is healthier.

Does light leak from the edges?

Since the edges follow the joinery line, leakage is minimal. Template precision is decisive here.
