# Winter Garden Insect Screen

Insect screen in the winter garden: a pest barrier on the garden-facing shell; sliding on the door, fixed mesh on the ventilation band.

## Winter Garden Analysis

The winter garden is a glass shell opening directly to the garden — the space with the highest pest density. The [sliding insect screen](https://www.fenetresystems.com/en/sliding-insect-screen/) on the door builds the barrier without disturbing frequent passage; the fixed mesh on the ventilation window protects permanently. The inside-outside boundary of the shell is held by the insect screen.

### Density

Pest pressure is highest on the shell opening to the garden.

### Passage

The sliding system does not disturb passage on the garden door.

### Ventilation

The barrier is preserved while the glass shell is aired.

## A barrier on the garden shell

The winter garden opens directly to the garden — pest pressure is the highest in the home. Sliding on the door and fixed mesh on the ventilator build the barrier together.

Flies and wasps stay outside while the glass shell is aired; the inside-outside boundary is held by the insect screen.
