# Winter Garden Zip Screen

Zip screen on a winter garden: sun cutting and an insect barrier on the glass shell edges; four-season comfort as the glass-system complement.

## Winter Garden Zip Screen Analysis

On a winter garden the zip screen is the complement of the glass system: the glass shell cuts rain and cold, the zip edges cut the sun and pests. In summer the [greenhouse effect](https://www.fenetresystems.com/en/facade-zip-screen/) is braked on the exterior plane — the sun is stopped before it reaches the glass. The screen variant preserves the garden view; it stays open from inside to outside.

### Greenhouse Cutting

In summer the heat load of the glass shell is braked on the exterior plane; interior heating is prevented.

### Insect

The edge closure cuts the passage of flies and insects; valuable in a plant environment.

### View

The screen fabric preserves the garden view; it stays open to the outside.

### Complementary

Together with the glass system it gives full four-season comfort.

## The exterior complement of the glass shell

The winter garden is a shell of glass: it cuts rain but does not filter the sun. The zip screen stops the sun on the edges before the glass — in summer the greenhouse effect is braked on the exterior plane.

The screen variant preserves the garden view; it stays open from inside to outside and gives privacy from outside.

Full four-season comfort together with the glass system: glass cuts the cold, the zip cuts the sun.
