Fixed Fly Screen
A fixed fly screen is permanently attached to the window frame or reveal with no opening or closing mechanism. Fenetre Systems' fixed fly screen features a rigid extruded aluminium frame with high-density fibreglass mesh that delivers effective insect protection for years without any maintenance. CNC-pressed plastic corner joints reinforce the frame, preventing geometric deformation under load.
Its core advantage lies in simplicity: with no moving parts, spring fatigue, mechanism failure or track wear are entirely eliminated. Available in white, anthracite, bronze and custom RAL colours, it integrates seamlessly with virtually any window colour. The 30 mm deep profile fits standard reveal widths; custom sizing accommodates non-standard openings of any dimension.
Frames are manufactured from 6063 T5 aluminium alloy and tested to TS EN 16034 standard. Mesh options include standard 18×16 fibreglass, fine-weave 20×20 and solar shading mesh. All models are made to measure at our factory and delivered nationwide through our dealer network.
