Frame-Mounted Pleated Blind

A frame-mounted pleated blind is a specific mounting configuration where the pleated fabric is bordered on all four sides by a fixed aluminium frame profile. While a standard pleated blind has only top and bottom rails, the frame-mounted model adds two vertical side rails, forming a four-sided enclosure that reduces light leakage to zero and keeps the fabric geometrically flat in any position. In spaces that require full blackout — bedrooms, cinema rooms, sleep labs and photography studios — the four-sided frame becomes indispensable.

The side rails also prevent lateral fabric drift and vibration effects during operation, making the frame-mounted model both aesthetically and functionally superior. Frame profiles are available in anodised or paint-coated aluminium matched to the fabric colour. A dual-layer option (day-filter + blackout fabric) within a single frame is also possible.
