Hinged Fly Screen

A hinged fly screen is designed for balcony doors, entrance doors and wide window openings, opening 90°–180° on one or two hinge axes. The panel operates exactly like a conventional door: you can swing it open in either direction, lock it fully open and hold it closed with a powerful magnetic or mechanical latch. Fenetre Systems' hinged fly screen uses heavy-duty aluminium hinges, stainless-steel fastenings and an anti-sag profile design for maximum durability in high-traffic areas.

Where sliding models create a barrier feel on busy routes, the hinged model opens single-handedly or with an elbow, giving an ergonomic advantage when carrying items. It is the first choice for kitchen-to-balcony transitions and frequently used service doors. Single-panel models reach 800 mm wide; double-panel models up to 1600 mm.

An optional integrated hydraulic door closer ensures the panel closes slowly and silently every time it is released — an important safety feature for families with young children. All colours and profile dimensions are identical to the fixed fly screen range, allowing mixed use in the same space without disrupting visual coherence.
