Vertical Pleated Fly Screen

The vertical pleated fly screen is a specialist pleated model where the mesh moves vertically — up and down — rather than horizontally. Designed for roof windows, skylights, mansard windows, conservatory roof panels and sloped openings. Unlike horizontal pleated systems, it uses a calibrated spring tension system to counteract gravity on the opening stroke, while a controlled piston or wire guide manages tension balance on closing.

Roof windows opened in summer are excellent for ventilation but invite insects indoors. The vertical pleated fly screen closes this gap completely, fitting within a four-sided closed frame profile and blocking everything from flies to midges.
