1. Our Approach

The FENETRE Systems website is developed with the goal that every visitor can reach the content regardless of disability. Design and code decisions are based on the WCAG 2.1 level AA criteria.

2. Measures Applied

  • Meaningful markup: pages are built with heading hierarchy, list and table semantics, landmark regions and accessible labels.
  • Keyboard use: navigation, menus, search and forms work completely without a mouse; the focus indicator is visible.
  • Colour and contrast: text and interface elements target the WCAG AA contrast ratio; information is not carried by colour alone.
  • Screen-reader support: images carry descriptive alternative text; purely decorative elements are hidden from readers.
  • Cookies and preferences: cookie preferences remain under the visitor's control and can be changed at any time.

3. Known Limitations

We work on the principle of continuous improvement; nevertheless some shortcomings may exist in third-party embeds (maps, video) and certain older content. Identified problems are recorded in the version history and resolved.
