What Is an Insect Screen?

An insect screen is a meshed barrier tensioned across a window or door opening. It keeps flies, mosquitoes and other insects outside while airflow and the view stay open. The joinery type determines the model — nine models are produced, from fixed frames to remote-controlled systems.

No ready sizes are used. Every model is cut at the Gebze plant to the clear opening of your window, tensioned and tested. The selection guide below compares which model fits where.

Mesh Options

Three mesh types are chosen independently of the model. If there are pets at home or pollen allergies are a factor, the decision shifts to the mesh.

From Order to Installation

A four-stage process from measuring to delivery. Every step proceeds in writing — no surprises.

    Send Your Measurements

    The clear-opening measurement and a photo of the joinery are enough — WhatsApp, phone or the quote form. All three reach the same record.

  2. 02

    Mesh and Colour Selection

    Fibreglass, pet screen or pollen mesh, plus the profile colour, are settled in the quote — ready within 48 hours.

  3. 03

    Cutting and Tensioning

    After approval, the profile is cut in Gebze. The mesh is tensioned and the system tested. The lead time is written into the order.

  4. 04

    Installation or Dispatch

    Within the service area, the install crew fits it. For other provinces, a knock-down package is sent by courier.

Questions About Insect Screens

Does an insect screen fit every window?
Yes. Models are produced for all PVC, aluminium and wood joinery. Simply state the joinery type.
How do I submit measurements?
Three channels: WhatsApp, phone or the quote form. All three land in the same CRM record — none is lost. Measure the clear opening as width and height and attach a photo. The measurement is confirmed, then the right model is chosen together.
Who installs it?
In and around Gebze, our install crew fits it. For distant provinces, an installation kit is shipped. The install video is included in the package.
What determines the price?
Four variables: net size, model, mesh type and profile colour. Fibreglass mesh is the most economical option; pet screen and pollen mesh are reflected in the price.
How durable is the mesh?
Standard fibreglass mesh stays taut for years under normal use. In homes with pets, the pet screen mesh — designed for claw pressure — takes over.
Can torn mesh be replaced?
Yes, it is replaceable. Mesh, spline and connection parts are supplied as spares. If the frame is sound, there is no need to renew the whole unit.
Are there colour options?
White, anthracite, brown and anodised options are available. The profile colour is matched to the joinery colour.
