Order & Custom Production Terms

Made-to-measure ordering: the stages that make an order final, approval responsibility, change and cancellation terms, and defect handling.

Last updated: October 2026

1. Stages by Which an Order Becomes Final

Because production is made to custom measurements, an order becomes final once the following stages are completed:

  • Quotation: a written quotation is prepared with the product, measurements and quantities.
  • Technical review: the measurements are checked for compliance with product limits and the installation conditions.
  • Measurement and product approval: the final measurements and product features are confirmed in writing by the buyer.
  • Payment: the payment terms stated in the quotation are completed (bank transfer, dealer balance via the portal, etc.).
  • Production: the approved order card is taken onto the production line; from this point the order is considered in production.

2. Responsibility for Approval

The details on which production is based — net measurements, series/model, colour, mesh or fabric selection, direction of movement (right/left) and installation type — are subject to the buyer's approval. Approval is given by submitting the order form, by e-mail correspondence, or through the order entry on the dealer portal. Approved values are transferred to the production card exactly as confirmed.

3. Changes and Cancellation

Change and cancellation requests are evaluated according to the production stage:

  • Before approval: all details may be changed freely.
  • After approval, before production: the change is applied where possible; if material preparation has begun, the resulting cost is communicated.
  • After production has started: a change of measurements or features may not be technically possible; the request is assessed separately according to the state of the product.
  • After dispatch: there is no right of withdrawal for custom-made products; returns are handled only within the scope of defects or incorrect dispatch.

4. Distinguishing Error Cases

  • Production defect: problems arising from material or workmanship are assessed under warranty; the product is repaired or remanufactured.
  • Incorrect product dispatched: a product that does not match the order is replaced with the correct one following notification.
  • Measurement error (caused by the buyer): incorrect provision of approved measurements does not count as a production defect; where possible an alteration is proposed, and if necessary the terms for remanufacturing are shared. How responsibility is shared is discussed on the facts of the case — there is no blanket refusal or blanket acceptance.

5. Lead Time

Production time starts once approval and payment are complete; the estimated window is stated in the quotation. If there is an unusual disruption to line capacity or material supply, the situation is communicated without delay.

6. Contact

Every stage of the order process can be followed via info@fenetresystems.com and +90 540 336 3873; for dealer orders the flow remains visible on the portal panel.
