Cased Honeycomb Blind

Enclosed cased single-cell arrangement with side rails. The thinnest-profile form of a leak-free cover.

How Does the Cased Single Cell Work?

The enclosed rail covers the edge; the single layer slides with a thin profile in the channel.

In the cased system the single-cell honeycomb travels up and down inside side channels; the rail is both guide and closure. The edge gap is covered by the rail — the only line seen from outside is the cassette and rail.

Single-layer fabric slides with a thinner profile in the channel than a double layer; rail size can stay compact. The enclosed section also brakes the air exchange around the honeycomb pockets.

The rail profile seats to the joinery’s bead plane or inside the casing; permanent installation is made with screwed mounting.

Standout Parts of the System

Side rail, top cassette and single-cell panel are the system’s identity.

  • Side-Rail ChannelThe single-cell panel travels inside side rails; the edge gap is closed to light and air leaks.
  • Slim SealingSingle-layer fabric slides with a thin profile inside the rail; channel size can stay small.
  • Fabric ProtectionThe enclosed rail protects the honeycomb fabric from side creasing and impact.
  • Steady ClosingThe panel slides on the plane; holds position without sagging or wobbling.
  • Made to MeasureThe rail profile matches the joinery type.

Who Is the Cased Honeycomb For?

Spaces where edge light leak and visual clutter are unwanted.

In meeting and presentation rooms edge leakage in front of the projection disturbs; the cased single cell keeps the rail line minimal for visual cleanliness.

On frequently opened windows rail protection shields the honeycomb fabric from side impact; fabric life lengthens over the open-edged system.

In bedrooms wanting double-buffer insulation along with darkening, the cased duette blind is described on a separate page.

Frequently Asked

Does the cased system cut edge light?
Yes — the side rail covers the edge gap; with blackout fabric leakage falls to the lowest level.
Is the rail screwed to the joinery?
It seats permanently with screwed mounting; screw and anchor are chosen to the joinery type.
How does the single cell work in the cassette?
Single-layer honeycomb slides with a thin profile in the side channel; the light fabric stays on the plane without jamming in the rail.
Vertical or horizontal?
The cased arrangement works vertically; a separate cassette type is used on horizontal sliding systems.
