The micro-perforated louvre is built to measure. The hole orientation is fitted in the correct direction. It is delivered with the one-way viewing balance preserved.
Ideal for daytime use on facade floors and in offices. The perforated surface lets light in softened.
The hole ratio gives a soft brightness even while the louvres are closed. The room does not darken, the view does not pass. The most efficient model on ground floors facing the street and on adjoining buildings.
On an office facade the perforated louvre removes the need to open the blind during the day. Screen glare is handled with the tilt wand. The working layout stays, privacy stays fixed.

The brackets hold inside the recess or onto the surface. As the perforated body is light it allows a fast install.
Even with the louvre tilt at the closed position daylight still passes through.
The perforated surface is sensitive to mounting direction. The outward-facing side of the holes is marked in production. On site the body simply seats onto the brackets.
- The facade glazing’s outer width and height is read (cm).
- The direction where privacy is needed is written. Street, neighbouring building.
- The daytime light need is noted.
- On ground floors the window’s street level and viewing angle are shared.
The perforated louvre works by day. For privacy under interior light at night an extra layer is recommended. On ground floors the tilt is turned downward.
How the micro-perforated louvre works
The perforated louvres carry regular holes below a millimetre in diameter on their surface. The holes let daylight in but break the other side’s clear line of sight. The result is privacy gained without closing the blind.
On a standard venetian the louvres must close to cut the view — the room turns dark. On the perforated model no closing is needed. Light and privacy are held together at the same position.
This behaviour depends on the daylight condition. While the outside is brighter than the inside the holes protect the interior. Once interior lighting comes on in the evening the balance reverses. For night-time a roller or curtain layer is recommended.
Screen light and working comfort
On a window facing a monitor, direct sun sets glare on the screen. The perforated louvre breaks that band at half tilt. The screen stays readable, the room does not turn dark. In open offices and call centres staff work at screens all day — this balance is the real reason it is chosen.
Even near the closed position the holes do not cut all the light. In a room where blackout is wanted the perforated louvre alone is not enough. For that need a standard louvre or a blackout series comes into play.
Use areas and care
Street-facing clinics, pharmacies and banks are the typical choice. Even as pedestrians pass at glass level the work inside cannot be read from outside.
In an office facing an adjoining building daytime privacy is gained without losing light. In a street-front meeting room the screen cannot be read from outside.
The louvre surface is the same painted strip as standard aluminium. The holes do not complicate cleaning — a damp cloth or dusting brush is enough. As the hole diameter is small, dust leaking inside stays at the lowest level.
Production is taken from the clear glazing measurement. The louvre layout is set without breaking the alignment of the hole rows. The brackets and mounting diagram come in the package.
Standard or perforated louvre
Both models are 25 mm aluminium. The split is made on the privacy need. Where sightlines pass at glass level, perforated. On an inner courtyard and high floor the standard louvre is enough.
On a standard louvre privacy is only gained by closing the tilt — which cuts the light. On the perforated no closing is needed. The perforated surface maintains privacy even in the open position.
The decision is made by facade, not by room. The same building can be perforated on the street side and standard on the garden side. Once the facade direction is given at order the two are built together.
A wrong choice costs more than the price difference. If a standard louvre is fitted, daytime closing becomes a must — the light goes. Before the quote the facade direction and privacy need are asked together.
Project and facade harmony
Seen from outside the perforated louvre gives a standard-louvre profile. The holes are noticed at close range — they do not read from a distance. The building’s outer look stays uniform.
On a multi-storey structure the same model gives facade integrity. On upper floors needing no privacy the same series continues.
Before production the facade photo and direction are requested. Which leaf faces which direction is marked on the installation plan. That marking removes the margin of error on site.
