Round Honeycomb Blind
Single-cell honeycomb fan on circular glass. Light slices follow the form; honeycomb pockets hold air.
How Does the Single-Cell Fan Work on a Circle?
The light form of radial folding; the single layer follows the slices’ form.
On round glass the single-cell honeycomb opens from the centre point toward the rim — like a wheel spoke. On the circular plane each slice raises its own pocket arrangement.
Single-layer fabric follows the form without creasing even in narrow radial slices; it stays thin where a double layer would coarsen on small circles, and takes little room at the centre when the fan gathers.
On the circular glass of churches, villas and classic façades the cover follows the geometry; a square cut breaks the glass’s shape while the radial fan completes it.
Standout Parts of the System
Radial fan, rim rail and single-cell panel are the system’s identity.
- Radial FanThe single-cell honeycomb opens like a wheel from centre to rim.
- Light Circular SlicesSingle-layer fabric holds form undistorted even in narrow radial slices.
- Geometry PreservedThe fan panel underlines the circle’s shape — it does not cut it.
- Diameter-SpecificThe circle’s diameter and depth are measured.
Who Is the Round Honeycomb For?
Places wanting a thin cover on small and medium circular windows.
On a rose or rose-window glass the radial fan completes the circle; a straight blind leaves gaps at the diagonal corners.
On bathroom and stairwell circular glass the privacy fan opens; the single cell stays compact even gathered on small circles.
On wide façade circles wanting an extra insulation layer, the round duette blind is described on a separate page.
Frequently Asked
Does the round panel open?
Is the diameter enough?
Is single-cell advantageous on a small circle?
Does it fit a semicircle?
The glasses where circle and circle-part forms are applied are shown in the special window group; the oval counterpart is given on the oval system.
