Triangular & Trapezoid Honeycomb Blind

Honeycomb blind on triangular and trapezoid windows: custom-cut cell fabric, form-based production on sloped-edge glazing. Form fidelity preserved.

Triangular & Trapezoid Window Analysis

The triangular and trapezoid glass excludes the standard rectangular blind — the sloped edge does not overlap with the fabric’s straight edge. Honeycomb fits the form with a custom cut: the cell fabric is cut per the window profile, a fixed or moving segment works on the sloped edge. On these windows carrying an architectural accent the fabric manages the light without distorting the form.

Custom Cut

The fabric is cut per the window geometry; the sloped edge closes gap-free.

Moving Segment

On trapezoid glazing the bottom segment opens, the upper sloped section can stay fixed.

Architectural Form

The triangular roof glass’s form is not distorted; the fabric follows the shape.

Light Management

On the wide special glass diffuse filtering both preserves the form and cuts the glare.

The Fabric Language of the Sloped Edge

This page is for the space decision: is honeycomb suitable on a triangular or trapezoid glass? The fan-folding mechanism, the triangular rail and the configuration are detailed on the triangular honeycomb system page.

The triangular and trapezoid window is an architectural accent; the blind must not cover this form, it must follow it. The cell fabric fits the sloped edge with a custom cut — the shape is preserved, the light is managed.

The movement requirement is separated into segments: on the trapezoid glass the bottom flat section can open while the upper sloped section is left fixed. On the triangular glass a single-piece fixed cut can also be preferred.

The decision boundary is the insulation requirement: if the formed glass on the roof gable wall takes the sun and the heat densely, the double-layer duette; if a thin cover accentuating the showcase effect is wanted, pleated is evaluated.

The measurement is taken specially; the sloped angle and the edge lengths enter the production plan directly.

Application Notes

Mounting & Selection for Triangular & Trapezoid Window

Cut

The fabric is cut per the template; the sloped edge follows the window form.

Segment

On the trapezoid a moving bottom section + a fixed upper sloped section are planned together.

Measurement

The edge length and the angles are production data; the standard measurement is not sufficient.

Fixed Variant

On the triangular glass needing no opening, the fixed cell panel is the economic solution.
