The white duette fabric is prepared to measure with the dual-cell section preserved; the set leaves for delivery in its protective packaging.
Duette fabric goes beyond a single-cell honeycomb: two layers line up one behind the other and form two separate air pockets between the glazing and the room. A double buffer is the strongest textile barrier that can be built on a glazing plane.
In the white tone this technical strength is fully hidden — the surface stays in the same family as white joinery; even with the blind closed no dark block forms on the façade. The strongest insulation, the lightest look.
In the cord-free arrangement the fabric stops at the height you set; when gathered, even the double layer collapses into a compact stack at the top. In top-down use the sky stays open above while both pockets work below.

Bead mounting seats the white duette fabric on the glazing-bead line; the dual air pocket works at its most efficient in the installation closest to the glazing plane.
Inside-recess and wall-mount installations are provided over the same body; the white profile reads as a single surface with light joinery.
- The glazing or joinery opening is taken as net width and height in centimetres.
- The mounting form of the dual-layer blind is noted: inside recess, bead application or wall surface.
- The recess measurement is also written for the dual-layer depth — the double cell stands thicker than a single cell.
The double layer asks for a deeper profile than a single layer; in inside-recess mounting the depth measurement is taken separately. The tone of the joinery white and the fabric white is compared in daylight.
Why the double cell is stronger
A single-cell honeycomb builds one air pocket between glazing and room. Duette fabric adds a second pocket on the same plane — heat flow has to pass through two buffers; once the layer count doubles, the resistance at the glazing plane multiplies.
This difference is felt most on single glazing and old joinery: the glazing surface is separated from the room by two layers, and the cold drift at the glazing edge is cut beyond a single cell.
On a north façade and in an attic the sun is already limited — here the blind's job is not light but heat engineering. White duette undertakes that job with the strongest build.
Strong yet invisible
Insulation products usually look technical — thick, mechanical, heavy. White duette reverses that: even as a double layer the surface integrates with white joinery; with the blind closed the window stays a bright plane.
Top-down use gains extra value with white duette: the section opening from above frees the sky while the double cell keeps working below.
Gathered, even the double layer folds compactly — the stack left at the top is not thick, it is two layers neatly settled on each other.
Which glazing needs a duette and which a single cell
The extra layer of a duette is not needed at every window: on new, well-insulated double-glazed joinery a single-cell white honeycomb solves most rooms.
The duette goes where it belongs: single glazing, old PVC, roof windows, winter gardens and large glazed surfaces. If the loss is large, the two-pocket difference is perceptible.
The decision is made from the window: the larger the surface leaking room heat through the glazing, the greater the need for the double cell.
