The white dim-out fabric is cut to measure and arrives in protective packaging as a ready-to-fit set with a white profile.

The dim-out fabric's white version works with one difference from the other tones: instead of absorbing the light it filters, it scatters it back. When the sun strikes, the fabric gleams like a bright panel — the window closes but the brightness stays inside.

In this class glare is not cut fully, it is softened. The reflection on the TV screen disappears, the dazzling ends; the room descends to usable brightness without darkening.

In the cord-free order the fabric is positioned by hand and held at the desired height. In the gathered state a white pleated bundle remains on top; it disappears on the same surface with white joinery.

The gleaming-blind effect

White dim-out's peculiar behaviour is this: instead of absorbing the sun the fabric distributes it. Under the noon sun the blind turns into a bright light panel — the room is lit not from open glass but from the blind itself.

This effect is an advantage on a north façade and in a low-sun room. The light is already limited; white dim-out softens all of the arriving light and keeps it inside. Dark tones darken the volume in the same scene, white preserves the volume.

In areas like the stairwell and hall where the window carries function not décor, white dim-out gives daytime privacy while also reducing the need for artificial lighting.

The line between dimness and darkness

The dim-out class lowers the light's intensity, not its existence. When the blind lowers no clear image comes from outside but the room's brightness continues; this balance is the real gain of daytime use.

In the night position things change: while the lamp is on inside the dim-out cuts the silhouette but the brightness does not leak out — the fabric also filters the room light. In a room with a full-darkness target the blackout series is examined.

For those undecided between the two classes, the sheer-layered dual version gives three light states: open glass, filtered white sheer and dim-out dimness.

White's care and tone reality

The gleaming surface also carries a dirt-showing risk — white dim-out asks for regular dusting. The accumulation on the fold is taken with a dry brush, the stain mark with a damp cloth.

Among white tones the undertone difference is a critical decision: pure white stands clinical, broken white stands natural. A sample held side by side with the joinery white finalises the decision.

Kitchen steam and indoor cigarette smoke yellow every light fabric; in these environments the cleaning interval is shortened or a one-step darker option is evaluated.
