Real Darkness
The blackout cell fabric cuts the light inside the fabric; street-light and early daylight do not enter the room.
Heat Insulation
In winter the cold air layer at the glass edge is braked inside the cell before reaching the bed head.
Silent Mechanism
The soft-lift mechanism makes no noise in the room at night and in the morning.
Edge Gap
In inside-case mounting the side opening drops to minimum; the blackout performance is planned together with the mounting.
The Fabric’s Job in the Sleep Room
In the bedroom the blind first cuts the light, then the cold. The blackout cell fabric gives both jobs in one body: while the opaque layer cuts the light structurally, the cell air separates the glass’s cold surface from the room.
Edge gaps are the practical limit of blackout; inside-case mounting and the rail allowance are planned in the measurement. In the street-facing room the light leak comes mostly from the edges, the mounting type is chosen accordingly.
On east façades brightening early in the morning the blackout variant preserves the sleep duration; for daytime use the same fabric can be paired with a second light-filtering variant.

To prevent edge leaks, the inside-case measurement and the rail allowance are taken together.

No hanging cord in the bedroom; the same safety applies in a room shared with a child.
Street Façade
On the window taking street-light, blackout is a condition; on the garden façade light-filtering is sufficient.
