The plain honeycomb blind is the unpatterned single-colour form of the single-row hexagonal-cell fabric. The still air layer held inside the cell slows heat exchange across the glazing surface. Carrying no pattern, the fabric colour ties directly into the room palette; in a room wanting a plain look the insulation works in the background.
