Café & Restaurant Honeycomb Blind
Honeycomb blind in the café and restaurant: diffuse light and insulation for seating comfort; the kitchen-façade steam limit is told.
Café & Restaurant Analysis
In the café and restaurant there are two separate glass worlds: the customer hall and the kitchen. On the hall façade honeycomb gives diffuse light and insulation — the noon sun does not fall on the table, the glass edge does not stay cold. On the kitchen line the steam and grease condition strains the fabric; there wipeable systems are the right choice. The two zones are evaluated separately.
Hall Comfort
On the table façade the harsh sun is filtered diffuse; the noon light stays comfortable.
Façade Insulation
On the wide hall glass the cell air brakes the cold-hot fluctuation.
Kitchen Limit
On the kitchen façade producing steam and grease the fabric cell is conditional; the wipeable system stands forward.
Ambience
The plain cell surface accompanies the space’s décor, it does not stand out.
Hall and Kitchen Are Separate Worlds
The restaurant blind is not chosen with a single decision: the hall façade wants comfort, the kitchen façade wants durability. Honeycomb does the full job on the hall side — the diffuse light falls softly on the table, the cold at the glass edge is braked.
The kitchen line produces steam and grease vapour; the fabric cell is limited in this environment. On the window at the kitchen-hall boundary the distance and the ventilation are evaluated, if needed it is solved with a wipeable system.
At the evening service the opaque variant cuts the inside being visible from outside; in street-façaded spaces privacy is gained too.
Application Notes
Mounting & Selection for Café & Restaurant
Zone Separation
The hall and kitchen windows are evaluated separately; one product cannot carry both conditions.
Evening Privacy
In the street-façaded space the opaque variant closes the inside at the evening service.
Cleaning
The hall side is cleaned with a dry brush; near the kitchen the fabric is conditional.
Ambience Colour
Neutral and warm tones are in harmony with the space atmosphere; the choice is made together with the décor.
