Pleated Blinds for Special Spaces
Pleated blind solutions for semi-open volumes. A shade and privacy layer managing solar gain in winter gardens and verandas.
Special Spaces Pages
The winter garden and the veranda are neither fully interior nor fully exterior. The glazed surface is large, the climate fluctuation is harsh. The pleated blind is the single layer managing heat and light on the glazed façades and roof sections of these volumes. It preserves interior heat in winter and breaks the greenhouse effect in summer; on the sloped surface the sloped form steps in.
