Frame and channel are cut to the 26 mm profile together with the mesh. The system ships with its tension and channel adjustment done.
In a classic pleated screen the mesh runs freely along the bottom rail and can leave the rail in harsh weather. In this series the mesh’s lower end locks into the channel — neither wind nor passage can move it.

Mounted screwed to the frame face; the bottom channel seats on the floor line. The channel profile is low-section and forms no trip edge at the passage.
The channel’s sealing work depends on floor flatness — on sloped or stepped floors a levelling plan is made at the measuring stage.
- The clear opening measurement — width and height — is noted in centimetres.
- Floor flatness and any slope are noted; the channel locks onto a straight line.
- The facade’s wind exposure and the gathering direction are added.
Floor information is mandatory on the channelled series. Sloped or stepped floors are sent together with a photo.
What the channel changes
On a free rail the mesh is guided along the bottom line but does not grip. Wind pressure pushes the mesh off the rail — the panel opens, insects pass, and the mesh fold deforms.
The channel locks that movement. The mesh’s lower end travels inside the channel; even under pressure it cannot separate from the rail at right angles. Along the closing line no gap remains either.
The thick-series section
This series sits in the thick-profile class: the frame depth works at 26 mm and the front-face width around 40 mm. The body carries both the door load and the channel component together.
The tabbed frame-sash geometry locks the mesh to the body; on the closing line, a magnet and a seal complete the airtightness the channel brings.
Who it makes a difference for
Sea-facing terraces, upper-floor balconies, openings in wind corridors and restaurant gardens are this series’ work. Anyone who keeps putting a displaced mesh back knows what the channel is worth.
In a still inner courtyard or a sheltered window the channel’s advantage is not felt — there the 18–25 mm series are enough. The channel is a prescription written for a facade with a problem.
